Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Greenville Spartanburg/Duncan

The staff was absolutely spectacular and the hotel was fresh, clean and well maintained. The rooms are really nicely sized and had a great layout. Showers were great with great pressure and modern design. FINALLY someone designed a large shower that you turn on without getting soaked with cold water! The large glass doored shower is turned on on a separate wall from the actual shower head. Brilliant! We were greeted so pleasantly any time we came through the lobby. The staff does a great job.

Rooms are modern, updated. Check in was wonderful with friendly staff. Housekeeping is very thorough, my room was spotless. The entire hotel is spotless. Highly recommend.

We stayed here a couple nights while visiting the area. Rooms were clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast bar in the mornings.

My wife and I checked and we were greeted by James at the front desk. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant person to be working the counter. He had a great attitude and personality and this hotel is blessed to have someone like him representing their business.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. As a whole I entire property was very clean. We were greeted by James P. at the front desk. and he was very pleasant to talk to. He made us feel very welcomed. We will definitely come back when in the area.

Absolutely our GO TO stay when playing at Tyger River. Kendall is the true epitome of hospitality. Friendly. Accommodating. Goes out of the way to see all options available. Treats everyone like a platinum member. Truly cares about the reputation he builds for Marriott.

This particular hotel NEVER disappoints me. I have been to other Marriott hotels with mixed reviews, but THIS particular hotel in Duncan is amazing...every time. I have been staying here every couple of months for work for almost 2 years. The staff is what makes this location special. My mornings always begin with a wonderful lady who keeps the breakfast bar clean and tidy. I regret that I don't know her name, but she always makes me smile. Then I pass either Jalen or Kendall at the front desk. They always have a smile and a few words to ensure that my day begins on a great note. You can tell that they are sincere in wanting to make an impression on my day. There is nothing worse than encountering people who are "just doing their job", but the staff here smiles and looks you in the eye. It makes for a wonderful start for my day. Then when I return after a long day at work, I either encounter Andrea or James who are just as amazing at making sure I am welcome, and they are there to ensure I have everything I need for a relaxing evening. I have been able to have some amazing conversations with James in particular. He is a big bear of a guy with a gentle, God-fearing soul. He asks how I am, and how my family is. After speaking with him, he leaves me with peace in my heart. It isn't just me...he greets everyone with their name and a smile/laugh that they know is just for them. It is because of these amazing people that I truly look forward to my stays in Duncan. Being away from home can be a challenge, but this staff brings me comfort, safety, and I know that I am "seen". In this day and time, that is pretty rare. Kudos to the management of this great team.

Rooms, clean, great size tv, love when the rooms have an "extra" full length mirror outside the bathroom. Makes it so much easier for two guests to get ready at the same time. Easy to read thermostat and enough luggage space that we don't have to take turns getting things set up , we can both access our suitcases at same time without being in each other's way.
